We are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to lead our Vacuum Technology business in Australasia, indeally based from our Geebung, Brisbane QLD location.

About the role:

The primary objective of the role is to build the Vacuum Technology business by identifying market opportunities and building key business relationships across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing an approved AMS business plan/strategy based on market and industry knowledge to achieve (or exceed) current and future growth targets.
  • Develop a customer contact base and call plan and effectively manage the change processes needed for improvements.
  • Quickly and effectively become a productive member of the team, and enhancing workgroup cohesiveness.

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of our products, services and our customer’s needs. It also requires the identification of opportunities for the introduction of additional products and services based on an accurate assessment of customer needs, while developing and implementing sales and marketing plans.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Experience in the municipal, industrial or building (water applications) market, preferably a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience in developing cost analysis and quotations
  • Experience in business development / external sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with customer-relationship-management platforms
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, ERPs, CRMs.
