Aqseptence Group is a leading global supplier of specialised products, equipment and system solutions for filtration & separation and water technology for a wide range of different applications and markets.

We are taking applications for a Business Development Manager to lead our Filtration and Aftermarket business in Australasia, based from our Geebung, Brisbane QLD location.

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to grow the aftermarket services business in Australia, and also build a new filtration business (under our Triton Underdrain product line) in South East Asia.

As a Business Development Manager you will also be responsible for:

  • Developing sales strategies and plans based on your market and industry knowledge to achieve or exceed current and future growth targets for these markets.
  • Develop a customer contact base and call plan and effectively manage the change processes needed for improvements.
  • Quickly and effectively become a productive member of the broader sales team, enhancing workgroup cohesiveness and effectiveness.

Success in this position requires a deep understanding of our products, services and our customer’s needs. It also requires the identification of opportunities for the introduction of additional products and services based on an accurate assessment of customer needs, while developing and implementing sales and marketing plans.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Experience in the municipal or industrial market, preferably a minimum of 5 years or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in business development and external sales.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with customer-relationship-management platforms.
  • Computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, ERPs, CRMs.
